Around 2 weeks ago I replaced my normal shifter with a TWM Performance Short Shifter. I seem to remember having a little trouble getting into reverse gear but now with the ss it is almost impossible to drop it back without it crunching or having to be pretty hard on it.

Has anyone got any ideas on what could be a good fix. Seriously considering swapping back to the stock and selling the short shifter. No other work has been done on my car and its not overly old (around 18 months)

try shifting it into first before you shift it into reverse, it works for me.

I installed my TWM SS about a month ago (Highly Recommend) Haven't had any problems. Though getting into reverse has always been a bit harder with the stivo. I have found when you stick it left go up slightly (dont grind it) let out the clutch a little, tap the accel slightly, put clutch in and put it into gear. Should go in smoothly. Just gotta work out what method works best.
