You'll need to remove most of the dash board and euther use different coloured bulbs (which aren't available commercially - you'll need to paint them yourself and I hear Tamiya hobby paint is good) or you can use a NARVA product that slides over the bulb

What's the chances of replacing bulbs with LED's...?

Haven't removed the dash yet, but will have to in order to sort out some rattles....

Cost!!!!

Shop arounbd and search the forums cause some guys I think have already done them - but other than colour, I can't see how LED's would be advantageous behind the dash

Are the lcd's for the head unit and the aircon console backlit lcd's or just normal ones with the green lights....???

No point in changing everything to a color and being stuck on green with the LCD's...

Lcd for the headunit is back lit .. and is soldered. If your a techie you can chenge the color. The bulbs for that are like the ones on your mobile phone .

The a/c and clock and just normal bulb. LED bulbs are crap coz they are directional.

So the light is concentrated on 1 spot rather than spead around.

I put a white led in the clock and got a bright white spot. Took it out straight away

LED's work fine for except for the Clock and the Air Con displays I had them on my Rolla, and have done them for other people as well. They have a nice colour and the beauty about them they have a massive life span. For the Clock and Aircon displays you will have to use the Narva Condoms or the model paint. The radio well... I used an after market radio in my car so did not bother changing them.
