cannington exhaust

hi guys,

just emailed this place called cannington exhaust in perth askin them what they would recommend for a 04 auto rolla.

I told them i wanted something with minimal drone + gives a nice roar in high rpms.

This is wat they said:

"A lot of owners wish to step up to a 2 ¼ inch sports system for their standard 4-cylinder car. This is not advisable, as it will only create drone in the cabin, particularly in automatics. We would recommend a 2 inch sports system from the catalytic converter back with a lukey sports muffler".

any thoughts fellas?

i dont wanna have to wear ear plugs everytime i drive lol :P

I have a Manual Levin and the following set up

2 1/4" Catback

3" Twin Tip X-force Muffler.

Nothing else on the exhaust has been changed.

At idle its got a little rumble, cruising revs its loud enough to hear it, but not droany - High revs roars, love it.

I think its pointless moving to 2" Sports system, thats my thoughts

i rmb reading on the forums that autos should go for 2" and manuals 2.25"

but yeah i do noe a few guys that have auto and are using 2.25" with no complaints

the bigger the piping, the bigger the drone obviously
