Hi

Just want to check with those with power seats (I've got a SX6), does the seat till up and down on both ends of the seat? The reason I ask is that when I tilt the seat up, only the back of the seat tilts up, the front of the seat doesn't move at all... is that normal??

I'm taking the car to service tomorrow... if there is a problem, I would want them to fix it then.

Cheers

I can raise either the front or back of the seat on mine, which is standard. You can adjust the tilt as mush as you want as well. Which part of the switch are you pulling/pushing? With the 'long bar' switch, you can pull or push on either end to adjust the front or back of the seat. It's hard to explain in words really, but you can adjust the seat tilt in either direction. This may be of use as well:

Thanks for that!!! Did you capture that animation yourself? Mmm... I will have to get mine fixed then. Luckily I'm having the 1000km service today. Will probably need a wheel alignment as the steering keeps going to the left....

Thanks again DJKOR, can always rely on an excellent response from you :)

its funny how it doesn't actually have an up-down adjustment

to move up the seat turns towards a V shape

both front (leg cushion) and back (seat base tilt) goes up

our Camry Touring isn't like that

it had a distinct up-down adjustment

doesn't bother me much though

I put the seat height all the way down

and actually wished the seat can be adjusted a bit lower

again, the old car can go lower
