front aux shaft probs

Help, some one out there must know a cheaper fix for the rubber coupling on the front of the motor that joins the shaft that runs all the spanky stuff under the hood ov a 93 tarago. or perhaps one ov u out there might av one to sell or know of someone who has. its gotten to the point that i think it might just drop out an make a big ol mess HELP!!!

Hi. You can buy a kit which does both ends of the shaft, comes with the dampers and nuts and bolts and a bit of grease but. As far as I am aware you can only get them genuine. The part number for the kit is 04374-28010 and costs retail somewhere round about 486 plus GST

Hi Micky,

I have just purchased a 1990 Tarago GLX.

It has the clicking noise and sounds like it has the SAD shaft coupling problems.

Does the kit available from Toyota Australia fit the 1990 models ?

Other info on the net suggests the Toyota kit only fits the later model
