What wheels to choose?

Hi everyone, new member Serge! (see intro).

Thought I'd jump into this threat instead of making up a new one since its a similar topic. I am not looking for light-weight wheels as the car I have is a BLACK Corolla ascent 06 model (auto).. So no performance there just to add a bit of a look to the car - hub cups are pretty stylish but decided to go with 17x7 wheels instead :)

Like the spokes (euro look) so was looking at something such as below. The kuro's are sold at Tempe but depending on their price will get just the wheels there (no fitting/tyre) as my previous services I had done by them weren't all that great.

Would appreciate any sort of input or suggestions of wheels that you recommend.

1. Kuro Throttle 17x7 Machined Black / Red Pinstripe:

2. BSA AU-347 17x7 Machined Face (off-set 40. would that matter compare to stock +45)

I couldn't find them with that name in Australia. Although I think I saw some similar ones to them. My car is black but yes I would agree with your about the wheels contrasting. Hence the machined face colour would be suitable. Thanks for your opinion.

I went into the BSA factory in Peakhurst, Sydney today and had a look at the AU-347 wheels. They only had 18x7.5 in stock and when put next to my car they looked pretty good (size wise) but if they were 17s they would look fairly small. I read a few threads saying that 18s on king lows is perfect. My plan was to get king lows anyways but now I am in the dilemma of whether to go 17x7s or 18x7.5s (very confusion).

Any suggestions from experience:

17x7 wrapped in 215/45/17

18x7.5 wrapped in ???

All help appreciated

ps i also came past these:

17x7 and 18x87.5 Katana, Ninja

and i really like goodboyz' 18s but can not find the brand:
