17" on a Levin

Hey guys just new to this forum. Just brought a 96' Levin BZ-G in mint condition and it came with 15" alloys, wanting to go for some 17" but heard from a mate that it will actually make the car more sluggish. Suppose it would, but is it such a burden to its overall performance?

let the rice boi's have the big wheels and spend the cash on some suspension or other mods

with the 15's your car will will perform & handle better!

anyway, car sounds great, make sure you get some pics up :)

thanks man, deffintly get some pics up soon of the beast

get some lightweight 16's

is it so much weight, or the actual size of the wheel though?

16's give a good compromise of less sidewall flex vs overall tyre diameter. 205/45/16's go nicely on a good lightweight 16x7 rim

The actual overall wheel diameter doesn't change much at all from your stock 195/55/15's. less than a 5mm decrease in overall diameter with the 16's but every little bit will help with the 20V, they're not the most torquey motors in the world.
