sounds like its your syncros or gear shift sleeves

down shift at like 60 kms? or less or more ? but yeah can you land 1st - 2nd lift? or does it get sticky and crunch

upshift is fine thoughout all gears, downshift 3rd to 2nd anything above 50kph it wont go in without grinding (As if you went to put it in gear with clutch out).

Do you know how much im looking at for syncros.

I can land and stay in lift through 1st to 2nd no problems.

Try changind the oil in the gearbox first maybe that will show you if it really is the synchro.

Cheap fix maybe??

Pardon my ignorance, but is there any way I can check the gearbox oil?

No way of checking...But I would be changing the gearbox oil first probably to something a lot better! And just work with the process of elmination!

If your going to change the fluid, check the condition of the fluid, for metal shavings and discolouration. If your going for a fluid change, check if you got any air in your clutch system aswell, just bleed it again, who knows maybee your clutch isn't pressing the pressure plate hard enough to dis-engage the clutch plate and thus ( as if im not putting the clutch pedal in ) .

Id go for them 2 options first, if that doesn't fix it, maybe its the syncro as you think..

Sorry only apprentice knowledge, if i knew more id suggest.
