Hey guys,

Having a small issue with the tailpipe - the metal piece which holds the muffler to the chassis has snapped - not sure if it was a rust issue or something hit it and it broke.

Car's gonna be garaged until I can get it to my auto repairer on Monday.

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? what did you do to fix it? I was thinking of getting a 'hanger' put in, which will support the muffler from underneath.

ANNOYING..

Cheers.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Can any auto repair workshop weld it back together? or do I need to get it done at a smash repairs?

Cheers,

an exhaust place can do it, or a mechanic workshop.. aslong as he's got the proper stuff..

Best off going to an exhaust shop...

Make sure they clean the muffler up first with a wire grinding wheel so the weld actually sticks to the metal...
