adjust clutch

searched many threads and found pictures and step by step on how to adjust the clutch push rod master cylinder !!

how the hell do i get to this proposed '12mm' nut on the push rod !! ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!????!! it doesnt show how to, just step by step :( :o :g: the pedal assembly is in the way.. i tried taking the assembly off but got stuck at the top bolt so i left it..

she is good at low rpm, but at high rpm 2->3 is a no go zone !!!!

well im not going to take off the assembly to get to it, so bought crowfoot's! whole set, need it for work anyway so ill do it after work tomorrow... :yahoo:

That crows foot was crap lol. I took the whole assembly off, took the rod out by about 3 turns. Works great now. No sticking !!!!! I tested redline shift in every gear, even 5th to 6th. No problemo!!!!!! Btw that nut is a 12mm

Any photos on how to take the whole assembly off. The whole thing seems really confusing to do. i understand what needs to be done, but getting there to do it in the first place does my head in.

So obviously the crows foot doesnt do jackall.....no point in wasting my time then

Cuz, did you raise the pedal height to get more throw on the slave rod? Or just lower the engagement point closer to the floor?

I ask since for me just bringing the engagement point closer to the floor has never done anything worthwhile. I want the pedal raised too, but no one will ever do it...!

And yeah, how do you remove the pedal box? Any tricks or snags involved in that?
