OEM toyota Caldina HU replacement

Hi Guys,

I'm looking at a Caldina as the replacement car, and naturally a few of te issues with importing a car include the stereo compatibility.

I was wondering if you think that toyota would use a similar dash shape or construction as perhaps the Camry/Aurion.

While i dont have the car available for me to take measurements on, i have this Picture.

would this fit??

This pic is the top of the range spec... with the FACTORY Sat Nav and steerign wheel control... ould be EPIC to get an English version

The shapes look pretty similar if not the same.

guess you can always go for the touchscreen units, im sure they will fit nicely ;)

ah k fair enuf.. if you are not after a screen then mabye a stockie sportivo HU or even a normal corolla HU..

Also be sure to check what the wiring connections are like.

nah nah... not after a boring 2 din uint...

what i mean is i am after a solution which fits the OEM surround, without requiring a fascia kit.

its months away yet.. so may as well look into some options from toyota.
