If you ever see a silver / blue ascent getting to 6000rpm really quickly it's probably me :D

Hi all,

here's the list of "older" current SA-based members:

Hodgie (Red Sportivo), kick_ass (Blue Sportivo), oz_viking (Silver Sportivo) - we are all around the NE Suburbs.

I think there's a Toyota Car Club cruise soon - I'll post in the club meets/events section when there's more details available.

As Oz_Viking said there is a 'Toyota Car Club' cruise on 22nd may:

Details are ripped straight from the post on tcc (Toyota Car Club

Hey guys... well, after i got a fair bit of a responce about the cruise... I'm going to do another one..

Date will be Sunday 22nd May 2005

Meet: Bunnings Mile End

Time: 12:00 noon

departure 12:30pm

Bring: your toyota, your self and a good mood Smile

This will be a hillsy sort of cruise headed towards Murray Bridge, will probably stop somewhere in murray bride for tea then cruise back freeway or maybe hills again....

I think it would be good to get a bunch of new rolla's together :P but I'm guessing most of you have more than just an ascent...... ;)

I ended up missing that cruise.....

"New Rolla Cruise" I'd be up for that!

Paradox - I think you just dobbed yourself in as organiser.

Bluey, welcome to TOCAU.

You buggers...

I'll look at organising a cruise...

but need to know a few things first: (pm or whatever it is here is fine)

Start point: North, South, East, West

Prefered: Hills / straights / sweeping corners, cutting laps etc?

Direction: North, South, East, West

Cruise length: small, medium, big, bloody huge...

Meet points: few, many, heaps

Day: Friday night, saturday, sunday

What I'll do when I get a couple of responses is do a 'trial cruise' based on the 'suggestions' and then we'll see how we go :D

Cheers all :D

I don't even live in Adelaide any more but some of the best meeting places I found were,

Castle Plaza (meet on the corner next to Hungry Jacks), Big W on Goodwood road corner with Cross Road (meet down the back behind the car yard as there are always parks there) - these are great for going up Belair Road (windy point) through Backwood to whereever you want from there (Mt Lofty Summit, Corro Valley, Clarendon, South etc) or you can get to the freeway easy up cross road.

Firle Shopping Centre just off Magill Road (close to the road there are always car parks as this car park is HUGE) - Good meeting point for Norton Summit Road, Gorge Road, Greenhills Road etc East and North East)

Flinders Uni car park 8 is also good (follow the ring road all the way to the back overlooking Sturt Gorge right by the chemisty department, I spent 4 years of my life there I know it'a a good spot for a meet esp on weekend as you'll be lucky if there are more them 5 cars in the car park) - Good also for going up to Blackwood etc South East but also going to the south coast and Fluorio Peninsula.

Unlike the Melbourne crew, I'm up for runs any time, any place...

Paradox - I find the best way to "organise" a cruise is to ask Big Jon or Brian from TCC to do it :D . The last one was huge, 100+ cars including (this was my favourite) - a turbo NSX. I think Doctony was there at the start of the last one, but didn't cruise. I'm keen to get a good handful of Sportivos together at least.

No one will play with me!

certainly i'd be up for the rolla cruise :) . pls let me know the time in advance as i usually work the night shift. :(
