Lock nuts for Kluger

Hi Guys,

Looking at getting some lock nuts to 'protect' the 19" wheels on the Kluger. Seems that most of the available ones are the tapered kind, whereas our cars use flat ones with a washer that recess into the wheel.

Anyone found suitable ones that weren't too expensive?

Thanks,

Matt

Toyota actually have ones to fit i believe, as when i negotiated the accessories, i requested lock nuts from day dot.

We also took out the roadside assist as they were cheaper than racv and tows unlimited kms to the closest toyota dealer(even if i am 1000ks away! lol

Yes I was thinking samething.. just picked up new kluger today which has 19" wheels. was going to go to local tyre place see if they had ones that matched ?

the toyota roadside assist is $210 for 3 years which is pretty good ..

Yes - I may have to ask Toyota how much the standard lock nuts are.

They aren't included in the price list that I have from the dealer.

I don't suppose you remember what they charged for them?

As i requested to have them, alot of my acessories were marked really cheap, this item was marked NO CHARGE so hence, i dont have a price.

By the way, my toyota roadside was $40 for 1yr....I assume thats $120 over 3 yrs??? hmmmm i havent had a renewal notice as yet, i think i joined about 1mth after i got it. nearly time to renew i guess.

Its a shame toyota dont have this included as part of the deal, like holden do. Yes they dont really break down so they should get a better deal with these roadside assist companies?

Hi there

I asked for them at my first inspection service only to be told they dont have them and to go to a tyre shop to get some

So if someone has a part number that would be geat at least then i will have some thing to specify

thanks
