Ah yes... I remember when every weekend my rear parcel shelf looked like that LOL! Good work mate - good to see someone else using the original bracket for the new speakers :)

Ha ! those old speakers looked pretty much the same as the rear speakers that I took out of my 96 Camry ... for the rubbish bin.

sounds sweet.. real happy with it

the bass from the fusions make a good match for the clear alpines in the front

yep didnt see any other way of getting the speakers to fit in the back.. so managed to get the pop-rivets out of the orginal speaker mounts and screwed the new speakers into them..and then the just bolted back into the parcel shelf, too easy :D

That's pretty much what I did, but I pop riveted my speakers back on :P I also padded up the metal chassis under the speakers just in case they vibrated a bit... but she came out well.

Wish I'd thought of that when I replaced my back speakers, instead we drilled holes and hoped for the best. One is a little off-centre but doesn't move.

Outback - the tweeter fell out my speaker too, mesh tore and the tweeter burned a hole through the speaker.

And that's the pair of 150's I used to replace them, it made my front speakers sound like **** so I changed the balance so everything runs off the back speakers.
