also out of curiosity didnt u say to him i want a eng cert for parts a,b,c etc etc ? bcuz he's taking the ***** out of u a little in the first few lines without directly saying stop wasting my time ..... lol

That's the dumb part.. I told him all the Mods I want him to inspect, hoping that I could get a time estimate of his hours, thus enabling me to estimate the total amount. Instead, he replied me with those ****... Looking at the positive side, maybe what he's trying to say lies in the 2nd paragraph, due to poorly mods and finishes, he couldn't estimate the stuff i asked eventhou I listed them the mods I have.

Well, for me personally, I don't mind sharing the knowledge I have with the people here.

It's fair enough to pay for knowledge / profesionality, but a bit of knowledge-share before going straight into business doesn't hurt. I like the 'lawyer' system works, free consultation for 1st 45 mins, instead of paying straight away from beginning. Therefore, you know where & what u spend ur money on. No offense to any1 here..

Yea, Now i got 1 from Autosport. He said it's $880 for most mods, and pay it at initial inspection. If there's anything that he doesn't approve, you can go to your own mechanic, rectify the problems, and come back for another inspection without any extra costs.

I don't get this part thou, "you will need to supply a weigh bridge ticket for the modified tare weight as well".

Well, this doesn't sound too bad..

New car has an engineering cert for a 'air cleaner'. NFI what it is, but it says to keep it in the car.
