I'm going away for about 5 weeks and car wont be used. Is there anything I should do to prepare car for this time?

I always heard people talk about un plug-ing the battery... But at the same time, that will reset things like clock etc.

5 weeks is nothing. All you need to do is kiss it good bye

When I went overseas for three months and came back my camry needed a quick jump start. She then ran like I never left her.

If you aren't too concerned about losing your radio presets, clock etc. - it might be a good idea to disconnect the battery. Nothing worse than coming back to a battery that become so discharged that the acid level is below the plates. Happened twice to me an a few times to friends who have gone overseas for more than a month, and usually results in having to buy a new $160 battery...

You could also see if somebody could stop by once a month or something and hook up a charger or take it for a drive (if you can trust them of course!)?.
