Guys, I have a General Question, about the fitting of High Beam HID Globes into the lens of my Aurion. I was wondering what is the correct way, for that long thin piece running the length of the globe, supposed to face when installed!!

post-14305-127814066192_thumb.jpg

The globes I have installed, will in fact clip in a couple of ways, into the lens hole, but should that long bar on the globe go towards the ground, go towards the bonnet or another way, or doesn't it matter, which way it faces?

The HIDs' appear to be working o'k, but is there a right and a wrong way, for the globes to seat?

Does my question make sense?? I apologize if it doesn't.

Regards...........Dixie.

Ideally, you would want the ceramic insulated wire to be at the very bottom. The reason for this is that it casts a very slight shadow towards the reflective surface inside the lamp holder. If the shadow is cast downwards, this is not noticed, but if it is cast upwards, that light gets projected towards the ground and you may see a slight shadow there.

It's nothing big though. Chances are you won't notice it. If you get what I mean.

O'k thanks for the reply. That's where I have the ceramic insulator is at the moment, pointing downwards, so I will leave it there.

Regards........Dixie. :)
