hey,

just wondering how much it usually costs to replace a watch's battery and where you can go to get it done. thanks

i can't remember because i had mine done ages ago but it was about $10-20 thereabouts. these services can be found at a specified key and/or watch serivce centre, usually found in most shopping centres.

Yeah, you shouldn't be looking at any more than $15-$25, depending on where you go. They usually pressure test them in that price as well if it is a water proof watch as well.

I'm meant to send mine away to Seiko Sydney and it gets a service at the same time is what i got told when i brought it last week but i will probably get it done at one of those islands in the middle of shopping centre. 10 - 15 min job compared to mailing my watch to Sydney and waiting 2 weeks :(

but i'd prefer getting it to one of its manufacturor service centres as its most likely they'd do a better job than the people who fix all types of watches. i'm saying this because once i had my rado's battery replaced and a few days later the lid just came off without me doing anything to it.
