I just saw VP executive commodore wagon and went for a test-drive. The owner says that the car has been regularly serviced at K-mart by him, and at peddlers by the ex owner. Checked the oil cap, dipstick, radiator cap, coolant reservoir and etc, the seemed to have been serviced at least once in a while. Window sealings and the loose indicator stick seemed to be an issue, which I think will be done in RWC test(am I right?). My concern is that when I shifted gear from P to R or R to D on idling, there was more than a slight *****(engagement was made pretty quickly, though) with quite noticeable clunk, also when the gear was shifting from first to second on test driving. Do you think there's a possible transmission problem with the car? I'm good if the car has a ding or slight dent but I can't afford replacing the transmission right after the purchase Please help me!!
