HI, I own Toyota Camry 2007 Altise AVC40R and it had standard stereo without AUX input . I bought new stereo off ebay which was taken out from Toyota Aurion and had a AUX written on it. I assume that it is plug and play stereo but I am not sure which is AUX input connector and If my camry already had it or do I need to buy a cable or something to plug my USB device in.

Please help

As I understand it the Aurion OEM head unit doesnt have an AUX plug but I think one can be installed on it. Have a search of the forum there is a thread relating to this.

Thanks for replying Guys, I am in Western Sydney and went to Toyota Dealership and they are unable to find the harness or the Aux port. I Installed the stereo but not able to use AUX function. They said if I can find the part no or name of the part then they may be able to find it for me but I have no idea what is part no or what do they call it (:

Thanks

Hi,

I remember there was a thread on this website that someone did the modification on the normal head unit so it can accept the AUX in. I have done that and it works. However, it's a while ago and I cannot remember exactly how to. Searching the old thread may help...
