Hi

Please advice me the steps involved to pair Aurion2010 Bluetooth with Android Samsung Galaxy S.

1. I am getting error message on Toyota Aurion Music Player Screen as "Blue tooth connection failed, invalid Pass_key".

2. I have activated the blue tooth on samsung galaxy in settings==>wireless and networks==>blue tooth setting.

Settings are:

Bluetooth -ticked in green

Device Name Galaxy S

When I Make device visibleand scan for device, I can not see the Toytoa Aurion Blue tooth.

Similar when I press connect key on Aurion, I get a message "Blue tooth connection failed, invalid Pass_key".

3. Aurion can pair successfully with Nokia E71 but unable to pair with Samsung Galaxy S.

4. If we need to define pass_key on Samsung Galaxy S, I can not find the location.

Regards

Hi! Have had similar problems connecting Samsung mobile (more basic GT-S5511T). Aurion unit asked me to "input passkey" on phone which was default "0000". I keyed it in to the phone and ended up connected to emergency services. Had to apologise to operator. I find the procedure to set up bluetooth less than intuitive. Managed to connect in the end but could not transfer phone book from phone to head unit phone directory. Hope you can solve your issues.

for me the pairing was successful(i have the same phone and we have the same head unit i'm assuming) ,but the whole transering of the phonebook is just a pain. a lot of people on here have mere or no chance in doing so far. i, myself have to live with that fact now. the pairing was a bit difficult, but after many attempts, it finally worked. so persevere. my piece of advice is that you try to activate the bluetooth within the head until first, sometimes it means for you to fully ignite the engine because it sometimes wouldn't let you press the bluetooth icon, then activate bluetooth on the phone and finally enter the pass key. sometimes it wouldn't auto connect straight away, so try to do so manually. then hopefully it should override the settings upon second use. if not you should know how to change the settings. i had to employ this method on three phones, otherwise it would never be possible. best of luck!

try turning the phone off and on again. sometimes it needs a reboot for it to work
