injen cold air intake

Recommended Posts

I was looking through the Cold Air Intake Topic and saw:

Injen CAI - RD2075P

P - Polished

R - Red

B - Blue

Blk - Black

But for what model? Im running with a 2003 Corolla Sportivo, Looked on ebay and its showing the code as RD2081P.

HELP PLEASE? Is it right and would it still fit if its RD2081P?

if you are looking at an american ebay website, make sure its for the 2003 corolla matrix XRS, they have the same 2zzge engine as our sportivos. If you're looking at the european websites they call it the corolla sport TS.

good luck mate

Alright, Heres what i found under Kenshin's advice,

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/INJEN-CAI-COLD-AIR-INTAKE-02-03-TOYOTA-MATRIX-XRS-14HP-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem41534cad95QQitemZ280570408341QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

im agree yes everything is correct, code name ( matrix XRS ) but im concern about the piping. doesn't look the same as a TRD CAI, referring to the MAF metre and the direction the CAI should follow, down towards my right fog light( when face to face with the car).

If you could confirm that link it would be great, as I am also looking at buying an Injen CAI for my '03 sportivo.

Referring to the photo, it MAY be just a generic image they use up there for advertising purposes.

Cheers

Anything will fit if you believe!

This part "RD2075P" should fit as its for the Matrix XRS.

I have the CES CAI on mine & as I have the facelift it required a little cutout of the inner guard.

This part may require a little bit of working too. Best ask the seller however they may not know anything about our Sportivo's.

hey mate ..... literally one page back is almost the exact same thread discussing this exact same topic ...... i have now merged the topics ...... please avoid being so trigger happy and starting a new thread when simply searching or even looking at older threads can answer your questions.

cheers

Bill
