hey everyone,

just got a question regarding changing the stock audio head unit to the unit of the facelift model one. is it a just straight unplug swap and plug in?

i got a workmate who's considering to sell his stock unit to me once he gets an aftermarket one for a good price.

my one looks like this

i kinda get the feeling it's that simple but i'm doubting myself and would like a definite answer if it can or can't.

cheers people

should be fine mate, i think the ascent facelift comes with the same HU as the one in the first picture...the second HU only comes in the higher versions.

wait for other replies though! :P

Look at this post. Which is a picture of the head unit in question in a pre-facelift Corolla.

Hahaha funny thing is, I didn't do that! Lol luckily Vinh and I attached a Toyota harness to the new headunit, so it was simple plug and play connect the stock one to get out the CDs.. :whistling:

would a 07 HU fit in a 03-04 corolla, i cant see why it cant but just want to confirm this and also would the wire harness be the same.

Thanks in advance.
