You cannot put the TRD Aurion supercharger on any other car, it wont mount up properly.

You can put an aftermarket supercharger on, all depends how much your willing to spend.

Not entirely correct mate. The TRD Aurion supercharger will match up to the Gen 2 Kluger as it shares the 2GR-FE.

But personally I wouldn't bother. You will end up the exact same way everyone else with an Aurion does when they say they want to put the TRD supercharger on their car.

if we could supercharge it for 5k id be very interested, should be too much to do as its the same engine as the trd aurion whihc had about 245kw, that would certainly be appreciated with a full load in the kluger!

Im only taking a guess here but im assuming it to be closer to the 10K mark...

Correct. The TRD Aurion supercharger alone is about $4800, the ECU is about $3000, the longer belt to drive everything is about $500, and all the other little bits add up. This is providing you want everything new.

The supercharger on the TRD Aurion is an Eaton, I believe that Harrop did the engineering.

I know they had issues with the Aurion even suspending production.

Speak to Harrop Engineering.

http://www.harrop.com.au/

Ummm... the TRD production wasn't suspended because of the issue they had engine issues with one of the earlier ones. You may want to read up about the TRD Australia first to see why they ceased production of the TRD Aurion and Hilux.

As well, to be more specific, the supercharger is a Harrop HTV1320 based on the Eaton R1320.

DJKOR, OK Calm down, no offence intended.

TRD "Suspended" production due to an issue in the Aurion, then resumed with a fuel-cut reduced to 6500 RPM.

Even though I made no reference to this, TRD Australia "creased/halted" production due to "GFC" oh.. and low sales. (55 per month for 16 Months)

I stand corrected on the Supercharger, even though we are just splitting hairs here. The Harrop was built using Eaton's rotating assembly.
