Hey guys,

I'm just new to the forums so hi! I've owned a '94 Camry XV10 for about 4 years now and it's been pretty good. Now I'm looking at picking up a Celica ST204 SX-R and have some questions.

1. Both my Camry and the ST204 have the 5SFE so will I notice any real performance difference between the two?

2. I picked up an $230 SAAS Steering wheel for $90 yesterday, can anyone link me to a Boss kit that will fit it and the Celica?

3. I'm going to be flat broke once I pick a Celica up :P What are the best bang for buck mods I should look into?

4. I'm aiming for something around 150,000 k's mark so what should I be looking out for?

Thanks heaps

you may notice some difference as the celica is up to 230KG lighter.

how much are you going to spend on this st204?

I'm willing to spend up to about 8,000

hey, should'nt be a problem at that price, my SX-R was $8k at 124kms. Its the rarity of that particular model of celica that tripped me up. Only found mine by chance as the SX-R was a limited edition model run from 98-99 only. Having said that, It's a matter of patients as i was searching for around 12 months before i found mine.

Good luck and make sure to check for the service history of the car.

If your willing to spend 8k.. I bet you could land this in Australia for much cheaper than 8k.. and with loads more power! :D

I'd be right on it if I didnt already have my 185.. maybe if I sell one of my kids.. hmmm

I asked for a freight quote lol.. they have a ST205 GT4 with a body number 0001205 that they want $310,000 USD for! yikes..

Ummmm I just noticed he first posted this in july 2011.. oops.
