I would love to turn that sh#t off as well.. last thing I want to hear at 6am in the morning after i've just woken up and on my way to work is that freaking reverse beeper as I'm backing out of my drive way

The buzzer itself is located on the circuit board of the dash cluster. can be removed with a soldering iron. but considering it is an important safety feature of the vehicle why not leave it! i went into reverse a couple of times when going for first at the lights (while not thinking) when i had a Stivo - and it saved me.

how often are you in reverse? It also works as the headlight warning light so probably best to leave it.

fair enough it might be a safety feature

but that fact that im gona have a reverse park sensor installed

as soon as i put it in reverse its gonna beep any way

do you think there is a way to disable it from the actual gear leaver ???

if i leave the original beeper in there

Im gona have 2 things beeping at once and its gona be a true head f*#k

If you disconnect it from the shifter your reverse lights will not come on. you can cut the sensor wire at the back of the cluster - that would stop it.
