aurion 2007 and 2011

guys i wanted to know is there any difference in performance bettween the 2007 and 2011 model cuz i race a 2007 model and he beat me badly i asked him what the hell just happened and he said the 2007 models are stronger he said there is a difference in the gear then we race rolling and he still wins i used the shifter rolling in first gear i shifted almost perfect i dont understqnd what happened

There is no difference in performance. The Aurion is very nit picky when it comes to getting it to perform its best and everything from what fuel you are using, how full the tank is, how long since your last service, general mechanical condition, even what temp the engine is currently sitting at.

Also the capability of the driver. Considering you don't know the above information, then I'd say your knowledge of the Aurion is nowhere near good enough to justify your driving as "perfect" when it comes to shifting. A little punctuation and grammar in your posts wouldn't go astray either.

If anything, it could be a power : weight ratio thing.....

Obviously if a barebone ATX were to race a Presara, the Presara would lose out because of the extra weight of the additional gizmos and doo hickeys in it. Then there's the driver.

An experienced driver will run rings around a n00b any day.

AFAIK, engine outputs etc are identical for 2007 Aurions and 2011 Aurions.

If you drive almost perfect as you claimed, either he did engine mods you're not aware of or you bought the 2.4L and his is 3.5L..

As the others have said, there's no difference in performance.
