How much should I haggle this car for?

It is a neat car, but without seeing it in person any haggling advice you get is likely to be inaccurate and put you in the wrong frame of mind.

Haggling is a skill that needs to be learnt by the individual through experience.

As a start, take a look at www.redbook.com.au to get a idea of what these cars are valued at, as well as viewing the general going rate for these vehicles. Do the research yourself. Once armed with that knowledge form your own opinion on what you believe the vehicle is worth and negotiate from there. Speaking with the seller in person is likely to glean far better results than an email exchange, further it will let you inspect the car in person.

Don't be afraid to walk away from the car if the seller won't negotiate in good faith.

Hope this helps, but for basic stuff like this it is best to do your own research in future and consult family/friends before creating forum topics. Try to keep our forums clean :toast:

Face to face is the best way to haggle as it puts the seller on the spot. Steven is spot on.

That or bring my mum.
