Good list of parts. Not going into a Honda is it? :P

With the MWR oil pump I strongly recommend pulling it apart and checking the measurements. The last of the circutiworx pumps had dodgy tolerances (I've been told by a reliable source). Since circuitworx doesn't exist any more I'm not sure who is making them for MWR these days, but their website still says circuitworx, so it is confusing.

awesome stuff ..... once this bad boys spools its going to be a handful on the road.

I would suggest some additional supporting mods ..... like bigger brakes, LSD and u r def gonna have to do something about the gearbox ...... you will find that 3rd gear will let go no too far after getting it on the road ..... not so much from driving it hard but purely because the torque and power is just too much ..... also what computer are you looking to run ? im speculating given the 2 fuel pumps ur planning to install a surge tank & not just have a return in the fuel system right ?

Look at my ride thread linked in my signature for more details of what im talking about as trust me im talking from experience ;) ;)

hey Xoom . i have been reading up on your build since i started mine :) i thought i was the first one and then seen yours and noticed you got MWR to give you a feature which was great.. yes i will have a surge tank as well in the fuel system , am correct in saying you have one aswell ? and what make is it ? i have big brake kits lined up for the car and i am planning to buy the adapter kit from MWR so i can run the toyota MR2 turbo gear box with an LSD , clutch and flywheel as like you said the standered gear boxes are week. hope you dont mind me asking on what other problems did you run into on your build ? just so i could have a heads up for mine lol thanks for the info i appreciate it loads

yes i am using a surge ..... its a full custom setup fabricated locally ..... have placed a pic below to give you some idea's ..... ensure u use the good stuff i.e. braided lines and high quality fittings ..... last thing you want is a dodgy fuel smell or worse a fuel leak in the cabin ..... also you could try and mount the bosche outside the cabin but i just wasnt happy with doing that ..... places were too tight or left the pump too exposed for my liking ..... also dont forget to run an inline filter from the bosche to the fuel rail .... i found the gap just after the fuel tank a perfect spot for it ..... its a cheap insurance policy incase the bosche craps itself and i have had 1 already do so ...... there are a lot of simple cheap insurance policies that ill talk about.

regarding issues ..... firstly being a right hand drive means (im pretty sure its RHD in the UK right?) that space behind the engine is to a minimum ...... which means that fitting a GT35 with an external gate might be a little challenging ..... clearing the selector cables and how you are going to route the plumbing to the turbo is going to need some creative fabrication ...... have you thought about how u r going to rotate & mount the turbo ? i.e. is the exhaust going to be facing the wheel arch or the centre of the car ? both have pro's and con's ..... i opt'ed for facing the exhaust to the wheel arch and if you are going to do that then i would suggest u go for a split pulse dump pipe which has other advantages but also saves a little space (pics below)

Back to those insurance policies ...... i would recommend getting the moroso oil pan .... again given the amount being spent on the project this is a drop in the ocean ..... also comes with the added handiness of having all the oil line plugs already part of the pan .....

Another one for you is also a power steering oil cooler ..... in my setup again because of the squeeze the exhaust has to get through an the sheer heat we found the power steering fluid was heating up so we dropped a cooler in ..... u can see it just behind the intercooler piping behind the grill ..... this is before everything was sprayed black so its not as visible now.

Yet another issue dealing with heat is protecting the surroundings of the turbo ..... we opt'ed to mount a heat shielding found in drag cars which can protect upto 900 degree's C worth of heat ...... again have included a pic below ..... the stuff was brilliant as it could be bent and cut as required.

And lastly get urself a good tuner ...... u still havent commented i dont think on what ECU u r gonna run ..... make sure the guy has either tuned 2zz's before or knows the ECU inside out ..... the 2zz is a picky engine to say the least and a good tune is a necessity.

Xoom you are a legend :D yes i will be buying the morso oil pan and be using an inline filter. Sorry forgot to say in the last comment bout the ecu. Am still not 100% sure still asking round tuners to see what they say. What ecu are you using? Yea uk are RHD . for the position of the turbo i will sit it above the gear box i will post up a picture and let you see. I have been looking for heat sheilding like yours but cant seem to get a hold of any so i will need to have another think. On the uk corollas the power steering is fully electronic with the motor inside the cabin. Thanks for all the info :D

im running the apexi powerFC since its made for the celica however its not a 100% plug and play and it required some pin re-wiring .... you can also go motec or adaptronic or hydra. I dont know enough about the t-sport ecu to give you a recommendation so you really are going to have to see what the locals are doing.

Yep i know exactly what ur gonna do with the turbo .... see the pics below .... this was the car of another person who used to be on the forum but the car has since been taken off the road after it broke a number of things ..... not sure where it is now or if its even back on the road. Original thread

Regarding the heat shields .... you just got lucky ..... i keep all my paper work filed for the car and i just looked through the receipts and found what i bought ...... http://www.aclperfor..._heatshield.htm ..... rated to 800-900 degrees & you can shape it into anything ...... i bought the largest sheet and cut it up and bent it as required. Was only $170 here in Aus .... might be a bit more since this is a local Aus company but its well worth it.
