Hi there!

I just joined this forum and found the posts I have read so far very valuable.

I'm in the process of buying a new Toyota Corolla here in Melbourne and I've already been to City Toyota on Elizabeth Street and Cannon in Heidelberg. My experience at City Toyota left a lot to be desired. Cannon seemed to be quoting rates which seemed way above what City quoted.

I was wondering whether I could get any recommendations here on good dealers to go to......any dealer in Melbourne should be fine with me

Welcome mate.

Your best bet would be to write down the quotes you got from the 2 dealers and ring up the rest. See who can beat it, when you've got the best price from the X amount of dealers, ring back them all back again and get them to beat it...

If they say they can't beat it, tell them to call you back if they can do better.. Guaranteed you'll have a call within the hour.

It's a bit of hard work but for a car it's worth it in the end!
