Hi All,

I have just purchased a 1998 Celica ZR, it is in almost perfect condition and I love it.

My only problem is the Alarm Fob it came with is broken. It all still works just the key ring part is snapped.

I have been down to Toyota and they said they can no longer get them.

Can anyone help me?

its made for Toyota by Alpine.

Thanks Owen

Welcome Owen :)

For an aftermarket replacement , try a few locksmiths.

There is a new aftermarket fob coming to aus next month that clones two different access codes.

Alternatively you could glue the broken one back together with bostick plumb-weld pvc pipe cement (from plumbing supplies / hardware stores).

I use this often to repair broken plastic bits in electronics and also plastic spoilers and bumpers on cars.

There are already after market remotes that can be used for what he wants. The remotes that you are talking about (K2) look pretty good, I will be looking in to getting these at work.

Awesome, thanks for the help guys. So the K2 is the remote to look at? Will have a look around

What are the other ones?

As you can no longer get the remotes you might be better off looking at getting the Alpine system removed and get another remote kit installed. At least this way you will be getting 2 new remotes and a new system.
