did you know that the black pearl toyota emblem found on camry sportivos only cost $4.60 each including gst. i thought all genuine parts cost a lot but i was wrong.

I know the "chrome surround" grille is $170.00, while the chrome Toyota badge at the top (sold separately) costs $83.00 extra...!!

Which badge are you referring to Orrock...??

The reason for this is that some parts are made in australia and some are imported from South Africa or Japan...

The Corolla Sportivo is imported from South Africa so parts are expensive, i mean the wheels are like $1000 each... No joke...

Whereas the badge is made in Australia as it's a Sportivo badge...

I'm getting a black Toyota badge for the Stivo from the Camry, its the same size.

Dealer is giving it to me as they took it off someones car for them, so it goes stright onto mine ;) Tis the only badge on me car :)

well I have the black badge (not on the car) from the camry sportivo and its actually a little smaller than the one on the back. It cost me about $10 and not sure if the pin holes match...

So Orrock, did you get one of the black badges? I'll be interested in one if you're going to get one.

i think it would be better to purchase a brand new item. it is only $4.60. i do not want a used item because the adhesive backing would be messed up.

i need to check the size and pin locations. camry could be different to corolla hatch and sedan.

why are there pin holes? the only reason i can see is that they guarantee a straight sticking of the badge.

if the pin locations are different then the pins will need to be cut off. this would be easy as they are only plastic and there would be no problem with fixing it because the adhesive backing is what fixes the badge on.
