Need help with USB on aftermarket headunit

Hey guys and girls, ive purchased an easydeals aftermarket headunit with sat nav, dvd, ipod usb the lot.

Having trouble with getting the usb to work.

Ive put some music videos on the USB and when i plug in the usb and select the USB icon, it says no USB device is found.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

check the format of the videos whether its compatible to the h/u you got.

Yep I've checked and the videos are all in .AVI format which the device is capable of playing...any other advice guys???

How big is the USB im not sure but I think they can only read up to certain sizes

hey Pah...its a 4Gb usb key and i've checked the stats on the device and it says that it should be able to take up to a max of 16gb usb device...mine is only 4gb :(

Mine is a bit buggy at times..... some usb sticks cause it to say no usb device found.

Some cause it to trip into dvd mode...... eventually I found one it was happy to play with.

Still every now and then tho they all will do the no usb device found prob... I find if I jive it a jiggle where it plugs into the ext cord it comes good again.

It might just be the easydeals cable?
