Hmm, I suspect that finding a wrecked MCV20R or MCV30R ES300, (especially a late one) and stealing the Engine looms and ECU would be the best way to go.

from memory here in aus they were the only variants of the 1MZ-FE available with VVT-i and in the later revision of the MCV30R it got a tweak of +5kW or so.

I'm in SA so i'm no help but thought tis info might help target your search better
