Cheap in car DVD??

hey guys i am wanting a the cheapest solution to play DVD's in my car. Having a screen is not a must, im more interested in the music side of things....so im asking all you stereo guys for your ideas thanks.

i have the jvc unit they talk about and it plays cd/dvd/mp3/wma disks great for music and movies.

i should have added that i dont want a new head unit as i have a doubble din alpine thats just too good to not use.

Mold a 12 inch lcd monitor into the glove box and add 4 monitors into the headrest

that should cover your dvd department

why do u wanna play dvds for? isnt your alpine deck non dvd, no point playing dvd's if you dont wanna chuk that out

then again iv seen people stick a single din into the lil area above the centre ashtray try adding a dvd unit there if you want, but ur definitely gonna have to get a new din of some sort or else buy a small portable dvd player and stick it in the rear pocket, wenever u wanna watch just take it out and watch.

hi mate... can your double din play DVD?? if so are you looking for something like a 7" TFT screen as they are not costly??

Well.. if you don't want to change your HU, guess the easiest way is to get a stacker that's DVD compatible?

Not sure how it works though... As long as the HU supports DVD changers

I know my old HU said it could handle stackers that could read DVD's (assuming movies and the like)...

Never bothered buying said stacker though..
