Hi,

What are peoples thought on the mr2 sw30?

I currently have a 2005 celica 2zz-ge, but I like the roadster design, so maybe in a year I want to be consider grabbing a sw30.

My plans for the mr2 sw30 would be a supercharger on it (not a centrifugal supercharger) and maybe some cams, rods, retainers, springs.

please post thoughts...

There's no such thing as an SW30 - it's either an SW20 or ZZW30.

Your Celica has a rippa engine, the last MR2 does not. Can you live with that ? Personally I love the MR2 right up until they released the last model which I side-stepped at the dealership & instead got the 6sp Celica with all the fruit which was an extremely reliable & fun car to drive for many years. my 2 cents

Edit: just realised this is an old thread . . . derrrrr :taz:
