New Vehicle Key Remotes
Bought a new 2022 Hilux Rogue ( 23km on Odo ) from a Non Toyota dealer, as a second hand car.Ok with that.Purchased on Feb/2023 and was flawed when only given one key/remote.Told 2nd key would arrive to original dealer, they would contact the current owner to have 2nd key activated and handed to current owner.Fast fwd to May 24 some 15 mths later Toyota Aust, says key has still not been issued to original dealer/seller. The Non dealer not interested in helping as their not a Toyota dealer.Original dealer said they cant help once the car leaves their dealership ?????. Not good enough from Toyota Aust. Going to keep complaining as I reckon its a ploy to get one to pay for a 2nd key. Don't get me started on Hilux requirement to service at 5000/mths . GGGGGRRRRRRR -

Thanks, been quoted up near $800 from a good source but was hoping to get one cheaper and he wouldn’t tell me the model as I have a twin turbo and stated it the higher end model. -

$1500? Gold plated is it? 1VD-FTV sounds about right. Only two variants - petrol or diesel. Only one diesel through out the life of the diesel V8. Had mine done around 2012 (2008) vintage, $250 from Toyota at the time. Shop around and try AMAYAMA. Forumites on the now defunct LCOOL were sourcing quite a few parts from there. Toyota Landcruiser V8 petrol lack of power on acceleration
Hi, My Toyota landcruiser 2004 V8 Sahara has lost power on acceleration with a timing tickle. I have replaced the plugs, coils, air filter, fuel filter and cleaned pcv valve as there was some oil through the box. The car is showing no codes, but has high oil pressure on cold start, is noisy and using a lot more fuel than usual. Please help, Barb -

2005 Toyota Camry Altise - changing transmission fluid?
I've recently come into the possession of a 2005 Toyota Camry Altise with 160,000 KM's and a spotty service history and have been doing some basic maintenance and repair work on it. Everything's been going pretty smoothly but I've been getting some mixed responses with whether I should change the automatic transmission fluid or not. Some people say that if it hasn't been regularly changed, the transmission may be worn and be relying on the particulates in the old fluid to make shifts. Does anyone have any experience or advice on this? -

2013 Rav SD card operating files for head unit.
Hi there. I have a 2013 Rav 4, the battery was disconnected for a couple of days due to a new transmission being put in. When we restarted the car we were asked for the SD card to load files to the head unit. We never received one as we purchased second hand. We found some files on here put up by a lovely user. They worked. We have the radio up and running but Reverse camera is not working. I am guessing we need newer file updates as they were end of 2012 ones. No navigation unit. Toyota dealer wants $270. Hoping someone on here has the files i need. Thanks. -

Automatic door lock
Why do my doors on my Camry Hybrid not unlock when I turn my car off. The areas in the menu that I'd need to fix this are not selectable. Is this normal ? I heard all Camry Hybrids unlock automatically ??? Confused 😕 Edward -

Error Codes - 200 Series Landcruiser
Hey guys, just wondering if anybody has had theres error codes - 7E8 and 7E9 come up on their 2009 -200 series Landcruiser turbo diesel. Any ideas on what they could be? Have tried searching online but am receiving mixed information. Any help is much appreciated- errorcodes
