Hey guys..

Has anyone had any experience or have heard anything good.bad about Starcorp?

The rims I'm interested in are these ones:

http://www.tempetyres.com.au/products_clos...rt=&part_no=454

At $275 a corner, it seems pretty cheap.

Though it doesn't say what tyres they will throw in.

I'm thinking of getting the Kumho 712's on them anyway.

Google doesn't show much on Starcorp.. so I was wondering if any of you have, or have friends that have had experience with this brand.

Thanks guys

blue_rolla.... hang on there a little longer and get the shoes that you desire.....

$$$$ have always been an issue when there are too many things and too little $$$ to play with.... Get yourself a gold lotto and you might juz get lucky....:)

made in China which is why they are cheaper

I've found with mine that the finish isn't brilliant, but quite acceptable for what I wanted

The main area to look is around the hub, the outsides of the rims are great but around the hub the finish is a little rough. But then mine are a different design... so... could very well be completely different

their designs are great though

Yeah, I really like the designs (even if they are fakes?). That's what caught my eye about them. Nice but simple.

Ended up parking next to a Lancer that had the gunmetal ones of the one I linked too.

Didn't get too much of a closeup but they looked fairly decent from what I saw.

How heavy are they Blue_Stivo?

the ones I got a bloody light but that's the feature of that design... not sure about the ones you want, call then and find out :)

I've had a set of 16*7 Starcorp Techno wheels in shadow chrome for about two years.

http://www.tempetyres.com.au/products_clos...rt=&part_no=439

They're noticeably heavier than the stock 15*6 alloys and the coating seems rather thin. Unfortunately due to the design of my rims i've knocked the spokes once or twice on uneven gutters since they stick out a little but I guess that's a fault of that particular style of rim or it could just be my driving :P

Apart from that i'm quite happy with the rims, paid $1k for the set including tyres...

So the rims aren't flat?

Not sure about the style you're after but mine stick out about half an inch or so.

If you're interested I can try and get a picture tomorrow.

My gf has the concept 9's in shadow finish on her Ascent, apart from being heavier than alot of 17's, their fine. Its a daily commuter (will never see the track) so its not making that much difference to fuel consumption.

Finish seems ok so far but then again they have only been on the car for around 2-3 months.

Ive got a set of these but in Shadow Chrome...17" x 7.

from Tempe Tyres too...

they are fine from my experiences....had them for over 1 year now.

they suit the car quite nicely...not sure about white ones though? guess it depends what colour your car is
