Fibreglass is easy to crack, if your car is not really low you shouldn't worry too much, but it's not worth spending it on a trd kit from Toyota there just a rip off ,you would rather get the one from overseas

but can you trust the seller ?

if you want to complete your trd kit i have a full trd boot for sale .

Thank for your information johnny. You are right, the Toyota dealer price is just rip off. With all that money, i can buy a set of replicas from overseas, have them fitted, cracked, and do it all over again for three times. Planning to keep my vehicle for maybe two more years, so that is why i struggle between the OEM and replica.

Maybe more research should be done to the sellers because there are actually like a lot of people selling them. for the same body kit style, some are priced $100, some are like $1000. My friend had his BMW 528i fitted with bumpers from one of the sellers, buts its made of PP, and he said its good.

As for the boot, thank you for your offer, but i think i'm ok with the current one because if i replace the boot, i might have to replace the tail light too.

Hey Man,

Looks like ya doin a good amount of research which is good enough but yeah... just be careful... i just imported a kit for the current camrys direct from Toyota in the US only to find out the rear wasn't suitable for mine.

Dems da risks tho.... i guess when ya think ya 100% on sumthin... look at again and think about what could possibly go wrong and ask the question.

Also, my front lip i bought also fiberglass and warped just a tiny bit in transit. Fairly easy repair for the panel shop and no issues after that point.

Thank you @Kanmuri79

Totally agree... when it comes to mods, we should be cautious.....maybe fitment comes first, then is quality. otherwise its just a waste of money....
BTW i never thought that FRP BODYKITS WOULD HAVE A CHANCE TO CRACK DURING SHIPMENT, MAYBE EXTRA MONEY IS NEEDED TO PUT SOME PROTECTION ON THE KIT WHEN PACKING IT. A WOODEN BOX OR SOMETHING WITH FIRM STRUCTURE....
its good that you have the latest gen model, because there are so many bodykits and lightings avaliable in the market that are made of good materials.....
