Why sweat it? It's under warranty!

It’s a fairly big problem that could lead to a massive problem. Yeap get it fixed under warranty, make sure this happens and ask them what is involved and be determined that you want it fixed.

Can lead to a blown head gasket or other engine damage $2000+

The dealer promise will fix it.

But i afraid some long term damage to my car

my frd suggest me to complain to Toyota Aus and refund it. :o

is it possible? ;)

Hi There.

If you haven't already gathered, it's a BIG problem in deed!!!

I had a 1996 Toyota Cressida... in 2003, the head gasket decided to die!

Needless to say, the radiator fluid when straight through the engine and out through the exhaust!! I was burning white smoke like no tomorrow... and my heat guage was going through the roof!

I pulled into a servo, and filled it up with fluid again, only to have the same thing happen in 5 mins time (heat went all the way up and fluid was gone!)....

Not going to go into figures, but I had to get the head gasket done, and luckily I didnt cause too much damage, but boy did it co$t me!!!!!!!

So to sum it all up, your cars under warranty, so you got nothing to stress about. Keep an eye on your heat when you get the car back, and make sure it's not over heating. Should sit nicely just under the half way mark (well my Sportivo does!)... :o) Hope that helps!
