Not sure about the 2015 models, but I believe the previous were around 16psi.

Boost on the 05-Current models is set at 15psi, which it will JUST hit for a brief moment under full throttle acceleration around 3.5k.

The factory turbo can be somewhat safely wound up to around 21psi when tuned without risking any damage to the turbocharger.

I have an ex mining stock hilux 2011 3.0 litre turbo diesel.  How much can I increase the boost and what is easiest/cheapest way?

Cheers

I have a question to ask. My dad's got an '09 3.0L. His had problems with the turbocharger lately, its been licking lots of oil from the pipe especially because of the fantastic pick up power from the turbo. I believe so it was pulling at around 16psi too, but he took his charger for service and they repaired the lick problem. Now, the other problem we discovered is that is that the car doesn't have the same pulling power like before, the pulling stops at around 2.7 rpm and the noise of the car is irritating as it goes on to 3000 rpm. I wanted to ask who can help us out to try and bring back the aggressiveness power that it used to have, what do we do, do we adjust the butterfly or...?
