Has anyone removed and/or replaced one of these on a 2007 Aurion?

If so could you please let me now the procedure.

Mine is faulty & I don't feel like spending $550 for Toyota to supply new & replace so intend picking one up from a wrecker & replacing myself.

I'm assuming it is just a further step from removing the radio system (which I have done before) but maybe there is another twist to this particular component.

It is simply a matter of sliding off the air con controls from the bottom of the radio when both parts have been removed from the centre console, and plug and play to replace. Just don't swap an ATX or SX6 unit from one belonging to a Touring, ZR6, Prodigy or Presara and vice versa unless you're prepared for a lot of work that really isn't worth the effort.

Thanks for that.

I have a replacement off a 2009 Aurion that looks identical and has the same part number so that should do it.
