Hi Folks, I'm a new member so please excuse if I'm lacking any protocols.  I have a restored 1963 Toyota LiteStout which is running a Celica GT engine (it was a feature in the Toyota Magazine about 6-8 years ago). I was wondering if there is a remedy for quietening the carbies - they make more noise than the exhaust system. Look forward to hearing from someone.

Cheers

If you don't want noisy induction you don't buy an old-skool twin-sidedraught Toyota motor, that's the best bit of them.
