Hi my mum just got some electric seats from an 07 sportivo and wants to know what it will take to make them work in her 07 altise.

Thanks in advance

Wiring. They should bolt straight in.

Is the wiring already there or do I need parts off the other car all she got was the seats themselves

I doubt the wiring will be there in a "non electric" seat model car.

Perhaps check with a Toyota wrecker and see if the additional seat harness is a possibility, other wise you'll need the services of an auto electrician.

Let us know how you go.

I will say no. Toyota generally only put the required wiring for that trim model in. Sometimes you can get lucky though.

If the auto elec quotes too much lol (she'll probably get them wired up anyway) is it possible the just swap rails? It doesn't look promising but I haven't looked too closely yet but its worth a try

I doubt it will be cheap. I would figure at least a couple of hundred.

If you like the trim over the electric option, I'd look into just swapping the rails.

The electric option is more fiddly than you realise.
