I have a ‘07 toyota corolla hatchback zre152r. I had to remove my front bumper to clean the inside due to accumulation of dirt and cob webs. Then, I saw a pre wire fog lights on both sides. I was very excited as I always want a fog light on this variant. So, knowing you need a switch for it. I bought a headlight with fog light stalk that is compatible to my car. Cost me $50 for it. I installed it myself. Took me 20 mins to do it. The low/high beam, turn signals works, but not the fog light switch as yet (because there are no bulbs as yet). Anyway, so I bought a h11 bulb and directly connected it to the pre wire foglights and turned the foglight switch on. Unfortunately, it did not work. I had a look at the relay. The foglights does not have its own relay. It connected to sort other things. So i need help to get this fix please!🙏🏻😕

below shows where the foglights fuse/relay are connected. (#6 ALT)

Parking lights have to be turned on for the fog lights to work.

In the Aurions, there is an additional relay that needs to be plugged in under the dash. Search of the Aurion Forum should locate the posts with more specific information.

Buy a Haynes workshop manual(92729). It will come in handy at a later date as well.

It shows a foglight relay(No.5/No.6 relay box) behind dash around the shifter area/potentially to the right of the passengers's right footwell.

The Owner's Manual is just an idiot's guide to electrical. It has little to no detail.

The red circles in the below image are a good place to start investigating.

This should be the correct relay: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TOYOTA-COROLLA-YARIS-LEXUS-RELAY-DENSO-90987-02027-156700-2870/232664981190?epid=611732260&hash=item362be9dec6:g:MEwAAOSwbe5ag7QJ

Hey! Thanks very much! I did dismantle the center console and had a look at the relays and saw what you were pertaining too. I did took some photos as well. I might go to the wreckers  and have a check at the relays in the middle console as i took a foglight switch stalk From that place. Thanks soo much and give you and update on this.

Hey guys! Good news i found the solution to the foglights! All you need is a relay. Got one from the wreckers. Installed it . And the fog lights worked!
