Hi fellow Corolla owners. I have a Corolla ZR for a little over a year now and wanting to get your opinion on an issue I have. With the ZR front passenger seat, has anyone experienced the pleather popping out of the silver trim near the head rest. I keep popping it back in, but the moment you sit in the seat it pops back out... I feel like over the time the pleather will wear out and tear around the edges.
See images – should I raise this up with the dealer? I doubt they'll replace the whole chair... see images linked.

Looks like a manufacturing defect. Does the car still have any warranty ? If it does, present it to your local Toyota dealership.

Yes I would get into Toyota about it..nothing to lose..certainly looks like a manufacturing issue and hope they will organize a fix, there is always a way of getting it sorted by an interior specialist just means money from your pocket

If the car still has warranty, Toyota need to front up and do the right thing. That's what warranty is for. It covers manufacturers defects within a specified timeframe.

I get really annoyed at dealers who always try to weasel out of their obligation. Hopefully Toyota aren't the way Holden have been in the past. No wonder they went broke.

Thanks for your responses. I will raise it up with the dealer and report back!
