Is the clock in a 2006 ZZE122 supposed to have some sort of illumination? I can't read the time at night. I pulled the panel out there's no globe for it.

The clock should have illumination. I believe the bulb is a T5 if your one is missing.

I agree with the above comment. Usually when the LCD display digits are black there would be a back light unless the digits are themselves lit.

I'd assume the back light would be part of the lighting system no ? So when you turn the headlights on, clock backlight comes on when the dash lights come on.

ZZE's in particular should be illuminated once the key is put into accessories and beyond. When the lights are turned on, it will illuminate other controls on the center console 🙂
