How do I remove the plastic cover on the steering column? (1997 hilux)

I've got a lovely scraping noise when turning so I was gonna take it off to get at it, not sure fi there's a proper way of taking it off because it resists quite a bit despite having the screws off and I'm not too keen on breaking any clips, just making sure I'm doing it properly.

Hey Tom, I'm not specifically sure about your particular model, but I do know that most column shrouds have two extra screws behind the steering wheel. Take the steering wheel off and take a look. There should be one either side. It should just come off once these are removed.

Post up some pics so others can benefit if you can please.

I did have all the screws off, apparently the clips were being a little difficult that’s all, I ended up getting the plastic off in the end 👌
