Hi you all I'm a bit off a novice when it comes to engines I'm afraid they have never been much off a intrest to me until now ! So I've got a basic idea I've watched video clips and spoken to people but I know some if not most off this forum know there way around an engine and not just any engine a 2GR-FE engine

Hi Ben. We've been down this road before with your power steering fluid. I can't remember if you're handy or not either. Not knowing the service history of your car, I would assume that it's probably due for a power steering fluid flush. During this time it can be an opportunity to inspect the steering system for any weepage or leaks too. Seems like you are losing fluid since the last time you topped it up.

Have a read of this and see if it fits the bill for you

I would start by topping up the steering fluid reservoir.

Definitely inspect the steering system for any weepage or leaks.

You may find that either the power steering pump or the steering rack will need to be replaced.

Also have a read of that previous post which is quite relevant for your issue.
