Velo race seats

Hi guys,

After been looking around at a lot of race seat for my 1ZZ I have found the Velo race seat the best buy. At $650 a seat and been ADR app, I think I will be getting one. Any comments on these seat guy? I got the BRIDE seat rails for the car so fitting will not be a problem. Thanks guys. :)

i think the sparco EVO series is a bit cheaper or about the same price, its fixed bucket, i like my seat on an incline but besides that shud be great!

Hey Vvti - why velo? i haven't really heard of their brand of seats...i'm looking at some seats as well but @650 a seat? ...isn't that a bit steep or is that the going rate these days? Do most bucket seats reline these days? *apologies*

Personally I value my spine, so if the car is also a daily driver, I would buy "sports seats"/"reclinable buckets" rather than a full on racing seat.

However, if you are fully keen on getting a racing seat for track days, get something that conforms to whatever class you are racing in, no point in spending hard earned cash on a seat only having to buy another one that actually comes up to the correct safety standards.

Hell, if you want a cheaper option, measure up WRX seats, as they seem to be bloody good seats, and are reasonably cheap from wreckers, or boy racers who replace them with rock solid, unbearably uncomfortable, hard to get into, racing seats.
